Newark is considered a NYC airport, along with JFK and LaGuardia. It's also a much better airport than LaGuardia.

    And I New York.

What train goes between NYC and Toronto? Does it magically go over or under the water?

I've been to every ****ing airport in and around NYC and they're all ****ing awful. No flights to/from Toronto fly in from JFK, which is the best. They all go to LGA or EWR. LGA is far, far worse than EWR.

I've flown out of LGA 3 times, 2 of those times my flight has been cancelled. Their flight schedules are so dense they cancel so many flights if any delays occur, and they always ****ing occur.

Every time I ever go to NYC it's a ****ing ordeal due to their inability to construct a ****ing decent airport. Even Toronto is better, you ****ing ****s.

I take it you have no idea how long it takes to drive to NYC from Toronto?

It's 766km. Factor in traffic delays and that's not faster, nor cheaper, not easier...

The Maple Leaf route, in fact, is a direct route from NYC to Toronto. And no, it does not magically go over water. They use this new-fangled invention called a 'bridge'...

            It crosses at Niagara.

Hmm. 766km, at 120kph (you can do that, right?), is like 6 hours... you got to the airport at 7:30pm, got into Toronto at 3:30am, eight hours later. So what about it isn't faster?

And what traffic delays are you having at night exactly...

They should make sure customs and immigration is in on this plan.

I've been asked zero questions the last two times I've gone to NYC. They don't even say "hello". The only words were "Boarding pass and passport."

They took both, scanned both, stamped both, and waved me off.

But when I return to Canada, I get grilled by Canadian Customs...where do you work, what kind of industry, how long were you away for, what did you buy -- how many mL of liquor is that, did you visit any farms, are you bringing any firearms back, did you travel to any other countries, etc.

In what world can you go 120kph on the highways between NY and Ontario?? I'm not talking about the speed limit, but congestion...

How the **** is that a direct route if it goes through Albany and Buffalo? It is clearly not direct.

And it only takes 13 hours one-way.

Traffic congestion between midnight and 3:30 AM?

That would be the Ontario portion of the drive.

And you would be surprised. I regularly drive in Ontario between midnight and 3:30am on the 400-series highways, and I always come to a complete stop at least once on the road.

I've driven to Buffalo and back enough to know how crazy it would be to drive to NYC.

Boris, you blew our solution by revealing the truth. Actually is that right, 13 hours for 766 km?

It's what their website says...I presume they stop at stations.
