Writing a paper at 5am

    I find that the only deadlines I actually try to obey are these. Basically you don't want to miss a conference, we have like 5 conferences internationally we want to attend and outside those, you'll pay for your own trip and expenses and present it as your passion project, but it won't go to selected publications list at all. So you have to make them, and since they happen only once a year, you can't not do it.

    Journals, the process is so slow, that better make your deadlines. That is, if you want to get something done. So then you write 40 hours straight if you're late, but you just do.

      I just got done with a paper. 15 pages in 11 hours

        Hope you have time to let it set for awhile. Then go back when your fresh and correct some of the silly mistakes that creep into hurried papers.
