    Good luck, KH.
You're missing the point. It'd be worse if he started this thread b*tching about all the difficulty ... in writing a fellawsophie paper. Much worse.
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

This is not a paper for a class, you jackasses. This is research publication.

The difficulty in writing a philosophy paper is filling up the required number of pages, IIRC. There's only so much you can say about a philosophy text, and philosophy professors always overestimate that amount by a substantial factor because they've had decades of experience talking about nothing for pages and pages. It's actually quite tricky to say nothing for a long time and still appear to be communicating, and the more skilled you are as a writer the more difficult it gets.

Just to make sure, in line with KH, also a publication going on, not a paper to class. They definitely don't count. This is not studying crap, this is job crap, you HAVE to do the freaking paper.

Writing a good physics paper, writing a good philosophy paper... quality is always quality, and it's always difficult in its own right.

There isn't anything to say? Now, even I think that's a bit harsh. For example, you can say that "The Genealogy of Morals" was written in 18--, that it was written by Nietzsche, that it's X pages long, that it was written in German...

Seeing how little sense some of your serious posts about religion and philosophy make, I would beg to differ.

How about writing "The Truth will be revealed soon" on each and every page--including the last one? I think someone with a degree in filosofy would get the joke.

Eh, I'm out of practice, and it's too much effort to pretend your babble makes sense. So I don't bother. Actually, I didn't lose all respect for the discipline until I got to know Aggie and he lectured me on the Circles from Another Dimension...if that horse**** is logic I'd rather be irrational.

You may also follow Foucault's steps and ask whether or not a note that you find in Nietzsche's manuscripts saying "hand 50 pence to the cleaning lady" is part of his works.

Is this for a conference or something? Otherwise, can't you just publish in the next volume?
