Her denial along with that quoted by Drake demonstrate that even those defending her are ceding that she was less than certain on these facts. This is indicative of a serious level of ignorance regarding a number of issues.

Actually no. As already mentioned (and ignored by you), the "quote" can be read various ways and isn't even a direct quote. And contrary to your insinuations, "out of context" does not mean the statement is being accurately portrayed. In fact it means the opposite.

Her lack of qualification for being president is already clear enough to those who are going to accept it. (There's around 40% of the nation who's only applied qualification for voting for president is having an R by the name. Similar numbers with D.)

I hardly need to provide evidence to support that taking a debate which you can win on evidence, and moving it to a focal point where there is no hard evidence to try to make the same point... is counterproductive.

In fact you've just agreed with me (regardless of whether in doing so you are correct or not)

As for evidence... All you have is hearsay from unnamed sources, and your own questionable interpretation of non-direct "quotes" which neither contain the actual phrases used, or the voice inflections/mood/body language they were offered in, and contradict the interpretation of the person on record as having been there.

I am not shifting the debate. I am providing further evidence (hearsay, and reaction to it) which corroborates the initial evidence. The initial evidence does not disappear.

No, I'm using the available evidence regarding Palin's level of understanding to inform my opinions regarding the likelihood of claims being made. This is an accepted statistical technique.

"Bias" would mean that prior to seeing her make an idiot of herself I thought she was dumb. I had no opinion of her before that.
