Nothing to do with favoring blacks. I just mean it is a real person that was close to him that has views that some people won't like.

Unlike Ayers which everyone in chicago worked with, and didn't have any special relationship with Obama.

I am not saying that they were close friends, I was just saying that that 'link' is much more real than the Ayers link.

No, it's not. Wright married the Obamas, baptized their children and Obama has said he had a longtime friendship with him. They knew each other for 20 years, and Wright is mentioned in Obama's book, unlike Ayers.

Oh, I had forgot that he baptized their children and such. I think Obama might have had some respect for Wright, but the feeling wasn't mutual. Wright has said that he told Obama that once he ran for president he would regard him the same as other presidential candidates.
