I've been stuck at LaGuardia many times...friday night flights scheduled for ~7pm back to Toronto, then a slight gust of wind comes and half of the flights are delayed and the others are cancelled. And if you think a delay/cancellation/layover is bad, wait until you have it at LaGuardia. There's no room to breathe. The person:seat ratio is about 10:1 and it starts to feel very claustrophobic, and everyone is very cranky.
On the plus side, that's how I met Romeo Dallaire.
My flight back tomorrow night is scheduled at 9pm, but I'm not optimisitc...Tutto nel mondo è burla

They aren't actually overly sensitive to weather. They use weather as an excuse to delay and cancel flights without having to explain that they're overloaded.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

If you did not have your finger on the trigger of that particle accelerator I would expose you right here for the fraud that you are. How could someone with a degree in anything but sports medicine honestly claim it is in airlines' best interests to delay overbooked flights rather than bump passengers? Get back in your black hole, or I will turn you into one.

When a flight is canceled or delayed due to weather the airline does not pay its inconvenienced passengers anything.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET
