I had an interview (actually a series of interviews) with Palm today. Those went great. What I need to complain about is the flight.
I was supposed to flight out of Pittsburgh through Denver to San Jose at 8AM EST Monday. I had a 2.5-hour layover in Denver, which is sweet because Denver is a kickass airport. I was going to get into San Jose at 2PM Pacific, go to my hotel, then go hang out with friends at Stanford for the afternoon.
Instead, the flight was overbooked and something happened to the plane, so they had to use a smaller one and I got booted off the flight. My new flight left at noon, had a 2.5-hour layover in O'Hare. Eh, whatever.
Then my flight out of Chicago is delayed 2 hours. I finally check into my hotel at 9PM Pacific and spend about an hour and a half at Stanford. Alright. Monday was lame but I still got to see my friends.
Except I forgot how ****ty the next day was going to be. My interview ends at 1PM, I take a cab and get to the airport an hour later. Guess when my flight leaves? TEN PM. And it's through Dulles. I don't leave DC until 8:40AM EST tomorrow. Optimistically I'll leave the Pittsburgh airport at 10AM. Six hours later I get to make up the real analysis exam I missed Monday.
