No. Probably should've used two paragraphs there...

I just spent a half hour reading and filling in my ballot and will be dropping it in the mail tomorrow.

        Oregon is all mail in.

Think it took all of 15 mins to vote in Indianapolis last week.

Oi! Watch it, bub - other people you know (and like) might live in that county, too ....

I suppose the upside is that Dallas is one of the few Texas counties that can potentially go Democratic, even if it's surrounded by a sea of red

i dont get this early voting thing. if there are long lines on election day, just setup more voting stations next time
it's been 200 years, you should know by now how many people are more or less voting each time around...

They could make the official election date earlier to get the advantages of early voting for everyone

I didn't vote because I have a pain in my hip and I can't stand for long periods.

This election is supposed to break all past voter turnout numbers, IIRC. They are saying that maybe 75% turnout may result. I think that's a bit high, but it has a good chance to beat the highest on record (I think that's 68% or something).

I voted twice yesterday, I'm going to vote 2 more times today, and probably will go into tomorrow too. I don't know though, it is Friday. I love Ohio.

After I made my mark they asked me if I wanted to vote for McCain again but I was tired from sitting on the couch all day so I just went home. Perhaps tomorrow or the next day I will go back out I hear the Obama people are handing out cigarettes in the area so I'll probably vote for him.

I see the challenges of running a democratic election in a country with 300 million inhabitants, makes the process over here seem good for a change, though. Having to spend more than 10-15 minutes to vote here would be unusual, not to mention there's no action required prior to the voting itself.
