Female societies less prone to violence, study says.
I'm curious if they were they actually making the decisions? Europeans venerated the virgin Mary for centuries and the idea of a pious woman was held to high esteem but generally they weren't listened to except in rare occasions by exceptional women. Women have always held tremendous power but it has always been more subtle and informal. Didn't Cicero comment on how We (meaning the men of Rome) ruled the world but our wives ruled us.
Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to assess gender differences in personality disorders. Since heterogeneity of axis I diagnoses could introduce variability in the assessment of axis II diagnoses, the authors studied a group of patients with a primary diagnosis of major depression. METHOD: A total of 316 patients were evaluated with the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire--Revised, a self-rating measure, or the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-III-R Personality Disorders (SCID-II), a clinician-rated instrument, or both. Axis II disorders were assessed with the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire-- Revised for 288 patients with major depression. The SCID-II was administered to 117 subjects, with an additional 95 subjects receiving the SCID-II for cluster B diagnoses only. RESULTS: The mean 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale scores for 108 men (mean age = 39.28 years) and 208 women (mean age = 39.11) were 19.0 (SD = 3.8) and 19.6 (SD = 6.9), respectively. Men were significantly more likely than women to meet criteria for narcissistic, antisocial, and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders as measured by the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire--Revised and for narcissistic and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders as measured by the SCID-II. CONCLUSIONS: These findings are consistent with those of previous studies showing a greater prevalence of antisocial and narcissistic personality disorders in men. In contrast with other investigations, however, neither the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire--Revised nor the SCID-II revealed a higher prevalence of any personality disorder in women.

Im not sure bout the brain structure but i have known more woman ready to fight then i do men, Especially if there is alochol involved. I have also seen more women murder their mates then the opposite. Men may be more prone to be violent, but women plan more devious violent ones. This is my opinon of course.
Ages ago a pal-O-mine and his wife were having this discussion. He was saying how devious women were, and how up front men were. I said that was natural due to their relative lack of strength. To win, they must think up something. He disagreed. So I knew that he had a thought up a very devious way to get even with an industrial employer that screwed him over. Also knew that it was pure fantasy. Anyway, I asked him why he didn't just go to this employer and start beating up everyone in the back office? So he saw the light. That industry was much more powerful than he, so he had to be devious to win.
I suggest that it is in the nature of women to be devious only because they are raised throughout their long lives in a condition that they are always the weaker, and often taken advantage of by those who usually are the very scum of the earth.
So its a defensive adaption that is perfectly understandable imo, and taken up by any creature, whatever sex, in the weaker position. I don't blame women for this, its only when they get devious as a way of life against those of us that would use our strength to protect that I get wierded out.
