In the third debate McCain needs to pull back Obama's jacket to reveal the suicide vest. There will be no great implosion during a debate than when he presses the button and Bob Schieffer is doused in terror juice.

Currently I am beginning to wonder if Huckabee might have been better than McCain.
I had thought that McCain at least wouldn't be bad, but since Palin, and other such things, I now think he would be.

Apparently cronyism and bad associations (Rezco, Ayers, Rev Wright etc) is the new strategy to replace "all your mavericks are belong to me." Smacks of total desperation.
I don't think there was a clear winner on the issues, but McCain needed a decisive body-blow. He didn't get it. Obama did well at deflecting the "inexperienced; not ready to lead" stuff.
Not shaking hands with Obama - then shaking hands with his wife - was a horrendous gaffe by McCain. Definitely looked deliberate, and Rude doesn't play well on either side of the aisle.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011
