It's good to know you cannot speak English at the fifth grade level. At least Palin can do that

Because it makes all the difference when the VP says "Pray that what we're doing is a task from God" versus "it is a task from God".

Either statement indicates she is incredibly stupid and not fit to lead this nation. We shouldn't be invading other countries then praying that God thinks it's the right thing to do.

      Go catch some dogs, *****.

The answer was D by the way.
That must be the most moronic answer of them all. God does not care for specific countries, he cares for humanity as a whole. Unless you are a joo who believes to be the choosen people, which Palin isn't.

I hear a lot of presidents saying God bless America. E.g. please god approve of what we're doing. It's pretty common.

The IQ of this place must be staggeringly low. There is nothing wrong with hoping that God approves of the way your country is behaving, which is what she was hoping for. She never said God wants what is worst for Iraq, just that we do what is best for us.

            1) It's not the same thing
            2) It's still moronic
            3) You are defending stupidity and you know it. Give up.

You're the one who, until two posts ago, seemed to think Praying for something is the same as saying that something is factually true.

Praying we're doing what God wants is pretty safe. Should she pray we're doing what God doesn't want? Should she claim she knows what god wants? Would that be better?

I don't consider her being a young earth creationist to be that bad. The general public isn't well informed, we know that. I consider her other responses to be worse...

Your attempts to spin reality are noted and discarded.

I'm not sure who is the worst VP: Biden, Palin, or you.

Now, given what else we've seen of her, and heard from her, it would hardly be a surprise, but no need to jump to conclusions just yet. Her own mouth is already giving plenty of reasons not to vote for the GOP ticket.

I don't see anything inherently bad in praying. I think it's good and nice, but as a president, I would expect more than "I'm going to pray" or "let's pray". That doesn't sound like a plan or even a subplot of plan b, and if you said that in any major company, I think you wouldn't be promoting maximizing shareholder value but ... hoping for the best. Instead of giving direction, making it. LIke a leader is supposed to do. Instead of... praying. It's not exactly a managerial function now is it?

To be more precise, this kind of idea of leading people, deriving from "leading values" but not much else, that's what we see in crappy countries with no flushing toilets. They also pray as their main strategy. It's just that their ancestors also did it that separates them, so we can still flush our toilets. At least for now we still can.
