Given time and the natural progression, it just makes its way out of your canal and ends up in the whorls of your earlobes. Then it's safe to clear away.

But yeah I do dislike the idea of wax in my ears and I will clean them out with a Q Tip (even though you're not supposed to). There's a sense of pride whenever I yank a hunk o' wax out and throw it away.

I have dry earwax, as part of the Asian side of my genes.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.

      This is sensible, not strange.

That said, I try to avoid avoid public restrooms altogether, since the floors are likely to be filthy as well.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. But is it really "strange" if it all has a purpose?
To quote Sir Laurence Olivier, why don't you just try... acting?

All that stuff is called "Preparation". And acting is so passe - as my highschool teacher said: "Don't act. Do."

Sir Laurence Olivier was often drunk on stage.

He also came before the techniques that shaped modern American film acting like Meisner and Adler (Strassburg was a loon).

True. I've never like Sir Larry in anything. He seems pompous and stiff, but that's probably the style of the day.
