We'll see. Poland gets their Kresy, we get our Novorossiya, and the Ukraine is left with its heartlands along Dnieper. Everyone is better off!

Twenty years ago we were worried if we could hold the Fulda Gap against Russian armor. Now we're supposed to easily beat them on the plains of Poland? Or be zipping across the southern Ukraine to Stalingrad.... err, sorry, Volgograd?
Russia had the numerical advantage in modern armor and an airforce that could at the very lease contest the airspace if not control it then, now they are outnumbered 20:1 with an airforce that will be swept aside.

I've got a possible military (last chance) solution. We run a few divisions across the Polish border into Russia, kicking Russian forces out as we go, then stop and sit there. We pick the region in Russia where there are still lots of Poles. There should be lots since the Russians moved Poland a few hundred miles to the west after WW2. We move into the region and stop and wait for the Russians to come along and see if they can kick us out. After a while either eastern Poland is freed or the Russians swap it for a pull out of Georgia. We could then pull out of the Polish part of Russia, allowing any local Poles who choose to live in Poland to come with us.
Very dangerous, but better than a drive across southern Russia to Georgia. It also matches the Russian in his desire to 'free' the trapped people of South Ossetia. We are there to free the Poles.
...and who knows. If you are the Russian commander of a tank army and you get the call to throw NATO out, you might just realize it would be a whole lot easier to throw Putin out.
We might just end up with the Poles in Russia achieving unification with Poland AND the pullout of Russians from Georgia. Wouldn't THAT be sweet?

Lancer, you are planning to give parts of Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine to Poland.
