grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

It depends what you're cooking I think, but as long as you season afterwards it should be fine.

I've been scouting ebay for a cheap waterbath for a few months now, wanting to try the sous-vide style cooking.

        Seasoning afterward?

Your seasoning should be nearly all ahead of time. Only a small amount of salt or pepper should be added afterward (to avoid drying out the meat).

Unless you're talking about a sauce or whatever (which is not relevant to a crockpot discussion, as the sauce is always with the dish).

Just call it a daube. Et voilà, she is gourmet cooking.

Just be sure nobody sees the crockpot.

            I love crock pot cooking.

We often crock pot cook on Sunday, stew or pot roast before leaving for church

When we get home, the potatoes, carrots and meat is ready

I have also experienced cube steak which is good too as long as not done too long

            Venicin is also awesome

When I was a Federal Lawman in Maine, I was privy to Moose and that is a killer crock pot meal

You spend six hours in church?

Not all crock pots take 6 hours to cook, some recipes around 4

                    30 minutes

We put in early in am..before showertime then we get back home and change from church clothes and it is ready

So the cooking would be about 4 hours

We also have put in all day on a low setting...Cube Steak..melts in mouth
