No, the Basque territory is in the North along the Atlantic coast. ES2 is about where Barcelona is.

I wish they had a good Basque restaurant in my neck of the woods. I love the food but it just doesn't seem like any Basques settled around here.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Doesn't it seem pretty odd that Finns would be genetically closer to Poles than to Scandinavians? After all, there's been centuries of interbreeding with Swedes and lots of Finns have typically Scandinavian features like fair hair and blue eyes.
OTOH, I seem to often be able to recognize whether a person is Finland-Swedish based on looks alone. They often either have like REALLY light blond hair or darker/black hair that is not typical of Finnish-speakers. And there are also facial types that are typical of Swedes.
