As it happened we had to drive the van through there several times. Each time the lady spreading the rice dutifully pulled back her rice and screen thingie upon which it is spread. The last time she gave us a dirty look so I offered to spread the rice and she accepted, her mood quite recovered at having a white guy do her chore.

Very little money was involved.

Zkrib! It's an emergency. Dolores informed me that we are almost out of the spag sauce packets from which she makes her wonderful sauce. We get them at walmart in the place where the little packets of pre mixed spices are housed. Any that you could bring would be a lifesaver.

There is possibly someone else, a filipina from Oregon that might make the trip (and bring some) as well but its iffy.

Is there a brand name I should be looking for? There are no WalMarts around me, but I'm sure I can find the packets somewhere...if I knew what I was looking for.

You don't pass tapeworms, they pass you.

Zkrib, pretty much any brand. We've had Frenches and it was good, but anything that is spices for a tomato based sauce should be good.
