I was just a little upset with myself because I could see how my last PM could be misinterpreted to imply that I am on the verge of retiring. I'm still just figuring things out. Your return PM was very helpful.

Believe it or not, I'm scheduled to arrive in Taipei on Wed. Nov. 19 and fly to Manila on EVA Air flight BR 271 at 9:30 AM. Maybe you are going on that same flight? I'll be flying directly to Butuan the following day, spending 1 night in Manila.

I picked up a shipping box at LBC today. The first clerk I deal with was kinda stand-offish, non-responsive and not too helpful. I'd never met a surly Filapino before. A second guy came along, got me a box and a packing slip and gave me some instructions.

So far, I've half filled the box. I need to hit another store to fill the rest. [Any last minute requests? --I am also putting in a jar of peanut butter and a can of sliced pineapple, okay?] I'll probably send the box off next Saturday.

Tomorrow, I'm flying to San Francisco for a conference for work. I won't be back until late Wednesday.

So Lance, Dolores, Papa Mente and Aeson, have a good trip. Enjoy the Philippines. Post, once you get settled in.

Well that's really nice Zkrib. Just canned roast beef. I was going to ship some but couldn't find it. Remember when you ship that box they give you another for free. Don't let the surly guy scam your box. Also, when you drop off the box they're supposed to put LBC security tape on seams and a sticker (which you will sign) on top and bottom. Ask to see that before you go if they don't automaticly do it.

Do good stuff in SF. Don't let the management get the upper hand! Now I wish we were flying through there.
