Saras, whenever, whomever, feels tough enough to try, they know where Texas is located. Come try it.

      Yep, and Kosovo was Serbia.

To be exact, it still is.

And I guess New Orleans is still France?

Personally I was not in favor of the Kosovo war. Serbia shouldn't have been attacked.

Saras, you need to update your flag. Yours is a pro-Russian one.

Well that is the benefit of ethnic cleansing.

France would have taken better care of it, anyway. Look at it now.

Not at all. NATO came in to stop ethnic cleaning, Russians supported ethnic cleaning and are still supporting. Now they're even claiming ethnicly cleansed areas "want independence". That's real easy once you've murdered or drove out everyone who disagrees.

not really. i would say that these feelings of national identity have always existed, but in soviet times they were suppressed by political concessions, coercion and often brutal repression. following the break-up of the soviet union many of the old methods are now unavailable to the state. people do not forget who or what they are very easily and it is no surprise that people are expressing nationalistic feelings now that they have the opportunity to do so.

it's similar to what happened in the former yugoslavia.

I dunno, did France acknowledge American independence yet? Wait... it even helped to achieve it. So no.

Yeah, and now that they are getting shelled by Georgian artillery, they're leaving for Russia.

So when parts of Russia want to leave they get invaded and occupied but when parts of other countries do the same it's A.O.K. as long as it benefits Russia? Face it, this is nothing but a blatant Russian land grab.
