While true, some of the thin-film processes aren't very messy. Granted, thin-film doesn't have much of the market right now, but in 2 or 3 years, it may have the majority of the market.

Also, the abatement is becoming rather sophisticated for the messier processes.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

So they just improved on this? With different materials for the electrodes? How is this Photosynthesis?

We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

I don't know how anybody could object to the aesthetics on this one.

...but until then, we're providing them with meals of stupid bird puree.

So the little birdie is coasting a long when he gets pureed by the blades.

So do these birds not watch where they're going? Or does the wind move them too quickly and/or forcefully for them to flap out of the stream in time to avoid it?

IIRC most birds have a poor sense of smell. Colors, IDK about.
