None of these are canon! You try to trick me, Mr Jones!

The Lego also clearly says Johnnxt 5.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

The only thing that can pwn Wiglaf is an old lady driving a car.

My wife took a group of 5-10 year olds to see WALL-E. They were disinterested a half-hour in. Only the slapstick action got a reaction from them. The message was over their heads. She said it was probably the most visually stunning Pixar film, but the story was a bit distrubing considering the film rating.

She had to take them to see WALL-E as it was the only G rated film out currently. The kids all wanted to see Kung-Fu Panda (PG).

Prudes. The spartans ( ) would force their children to disembowel animals and fight each other mercilessly, and animated violence is too much for some 10 year olds? The pussification of society has hit a new level.

Uh... 5 year olds can handle Kung-Fu Panda just fine. Why couldn't she take them to a PG?

Do I have to quote Wiglaf about the pussification of society here?

Funny thing is her son, who is seven years old, was once heard on a field trip commenting on rather a hot looking young lady who walked by the group; " Whoa baby, I'd sure like to have some of that action."

Pixar movies are consistently overrated by critics who seem to be awestruck that a movie can actually be both kid-friendly and funny. Yea, it requires some skill to do that, but it doesn't mean that every movie that does it should be given glowing reviews.

Nonetheless, I give Pixar credit for their consistency. They've never produced a total dud. All of the most bankable names in film have been in some awful movies. (Will Smith in Wild Wild West, anyone?) If Cars is really the worst that we can come up with, Pixar is on to something. I'd claim that while every one of them is at least borderline watchable, Toy Story and Ratatouille were great movies, and it looks like Wall-E will be their third.
