It was before FireGestures was installed. And continues.
Does it work in other apps? Do you have some ****ty Logitech mouse?
It works fine for me, at work and otherwise, with MS mice.

I wonder if the previous issues are fixed this time.
Jesus christ, I don't even know what to say.

My point was you were vague, and given from what I know of you here, I'm 99% certain the bug lies in the person designing the site.
Tell me one "bug" you've found in FF2.

I have a Logitech MX 518, and the autoscroll works in IE and Opera.

I'm 99% sure it's a Logitech driver/software issue. The drivers/software work by detecting the running application and driving what kind of functionality to enable (eg, middle clicking in Civ shouldn't bring up the autoscroll). Try updating your Logitech software and checking its settings.

And it even works in the new Opera (9.5), grumble.

That was simple! For some strange reason "Autoscrolling" was unchecked in the Advanced Options!

Sure, a few simple ones,
Firefox does not apply colours to horizontal rules. (Unless you do it it a certain way, I forget how now)
Padding on table rows is screwy
Table positioning is screwy.
Table borders don't work.
Mozilla's solution? Use CSS! Come on, sometimes CSS takes time to prepare; HTML is just faster when you don't have the time.
You're so full of ****.
Show me a simple testcase of any of these issues.
The only one I've vaguely heard of is the HR issue you have -- and that's not a Firefox issue. Safari and Opera and Firefox all render HR differently from what a lot of ****ty web developers think it should work, because Safari and Opera and Firefox render to the HTML standard...have you considered writing code to the HTML standard, Frosty?
This is why web developers get paid ****, BTW. The people stuck doing it aren't any good...

A cake from the Internet Explorer team just arrived at Mozilla headquarters in …
MS' IE team sent Mozilla a cake to celebrate Firefox 3's launch.
