It should be a goal fest...unless they do sell Ronaldo for the supposed £35 million + Robinho. Then again,l considering who they could buy with that sort of money...

The producer of Ukranian singer is Russian pop-star Kirkorov who wrote the music for the song.

            I didn't like the song.

Watching eurovision in a café in kemptown eating burgers with a bunch of camp gay men, the owner cheering everytime greece got points, seeing minor celebraties at the bar and pulling at the club. This was exactly the weekend I needed to make me happy again.

                Thank you Eurovision!
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Lots of bad songs as usual. I do think Norway had a pretty good song this year though. Anyone agrees? We should have won.

It was something about marijuana and the milky way, I guess.

There's still so much you did not win, and nobody's making a fuss about that . I burst out laughing when I heard the news on the radio today. The speaker announced that Russia won, and that many Russians were rejoicing and screaming about how Russia is great and this and that because they won a few sports events and a phony music contest. Congratulations anyway
