    Most people i talked to, there, like Civ but hate yalls snarkyness and egoism. Honestly, most of them might lurk but this site will be lucky to get any real significant amounts of new posters in the upcoming years from ANY source. Ya we might get new registrations, but we are just a source of amusement and lulz to most, so most stay as lurkers. We are a soap-opera of sorts that nobody cares to join.

                      Has it ever occurred to you that one site admin is an Advertising Executive? And that if the management REALLY wanted more traffic, he'd have a good idea how to? Or is it despite what they say, they're all too busy with real life (including DanQ) to spend their precious free time dealing with the extra hassle increased traffic would bring?

                      Maybe this is a 'closed clique' but I like going someplace online where 'everyone knows my name', as opposed to being a number in the vast hordes. There's also the fact that the site attracts a very small set of gaming types, AND that the average age of people at this site is probably 10 years older than the average gamer.

                          You were not ignored.

                          We do not talk about GalCiv much on PolyCast/ModCast as no regular co-host is particularly knowledgeable about the series. Personally, I had not started any threads on PC on the official GalCivII forums as it hadn't struck me that they have an OT sub-forum dedicated to PC Gaming no less. I will start a general interest thread there and see how/where it goes. (I'm currently getting an error when trying to create an account to be able to post it, so I'll have to try again later.)
