Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

They'll be glad to. The Republic of Ireland is already spanking Britain in standard of living. The difference between Dublin and London was marked on my last visit to both places. Part of the reason Scotland does badly and needs that crap is government neglect - the English have exploited and marginalized that country for far too long.
This makes sense to you, as a response to the fact that Scotland receives far more money than it gives to the government?

You mean like everything else in politics?“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Though I like the guy, can't believe LOndon actually voted him in.Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Fat chance. He's already surrounded by heavy-duty aides intended to stop him getting carried away and saying stuff that his schoolchums (and absolutely nobody else) will find funny. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

lol yay for Boris, i won my bet on himLearn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

As for Ireland? Look outside of Dublin and you'll see it still lags a long way behind on a number of national infrastructure issues, even after all those EU subsidies.Only feebs vote.
