My upcoming wizz-bang, cross-the-country trip started falling apart last night. I've been scrambling to save it.The Dallas leg has now been cancelled.
I still get to play Seinfield and go to the Hamptons to "see the baby."
and then on to see my sister in Columbus for her birthday. My brother told me he had a new house. He didn't tell me it was in a different city!
So, I'm flying into Denver while he's now in Colorado Springs. I can get down to Colorado Springs for his birthday, but I'm having a heck of a time getting out of the damn place.--Hey, just had a thought. I'm disappearing to see if I can catch a flight from COS to Salt Lake City, where I already have a Denver-originating connecting flight to Portland.

Edit: That idea looks like a bust. The flights that go to SLC go through Denver.
So I says, why not just take a flight from Colorado Springs to Denver, where I already have a flight booked. How much can it be? United Express > $500
There are buses I think that will drive you also if you don't have a car. Or I could call my dad and ask him for a ride, but he might be a bit confused as to why I was asking him for a complete stranger to him
