    When I was on cruz they ran out of cigerettes a month too early. I think the reenlistment rate dropped 50% for the people who were on that cruz.
    I did as well, but so did the whole 5th fleet, so it wasn't my fault. Thought they only ran out of Marlboro, I could still get Newports.     Military pay isn't that good. Also, in DC you can really only hope to rent on a military salary.

      I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck.           DC Madam Believed to Have Committed Suicide in Florida

          Washington Post Staff Writers
          A woman who apparently committed suicide in Florida is believed to be Deborah Jeane Palfrey, convicted last month of running a high-end prostitution service in Washington, officials said.

          Authorities were called at 11 a.m. today to a mobile home park in Tarpon Springs, Fla., where they found a body in a residence belonging to Palfrey's mother. Few other details were immediately provided.

          Palfrey, 52, was free while awaiting sentencing June 25 on federal racketeering charges. A federal jury convicted her April 15 of running a Washington-area call-girl ring in the guise of "a high-end erotic fantasy service," rejecting her argument that she was unaware for 13 years that female escorts she employed were performing sex acts with clients for money.

          Authorities said the body was found in a small storage shed on the west side of the home. They found handwritten suicide notes, they said, and there are no signs of foul play. Tarpon Springs police said they are working with the sheriff's and medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.

                    I think the john would need to be doing the filming (as he's paying her)... There are probably licensing issues as well (and the john would have to pay employer taxes, presumably)...

                      She could be an independent contractor.

                      If I hire some guy to film a wedding, he is providing the equipment and I'm paying him for the job. I'm not his employer. It'd be kinda like that.

                                The law makes an arbitrary distinction, deal with it funnypants.The question of HOW the person who pays the whore benefits is what makes all the difference.If he gets sex, it's prostitution. If he gets money or filming rights, it's pornography.

                                In other words, if there is a camera and the act is intended to be marketed, and both partners are in it for money, then your constitutional provision is relevant. Otherwise, you can bite it pretty hard on this one.

                                The idea is to protect expression as much as possible, and not to devalue sex too much. Has a nice side benefit of letting men watch porno but that is not here nor there.

                                The legal advice you gave -- FILM IT AND ITS OK -- is preposterous. It is like someone who rights a slanderous article and then puts at the bottom 'This isn't slander so I can't be sued.' Not filmed for purposes of speech but just to get off in both senses
