Blake: best of luck with the hairlessness, hope its not to much trouble. BTW I have enough hair for the two of us as I am WAY overdue for a trim.
P.S. Eye brows keep sweat from running into the eye, the scalp hair helps to regular the temperature of the brain as it can both cool and warm the head. Strait hair is better at warming and curly hair at cooling thus explaining why different racial groups have hair that matches the climate they originate from.
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche

Oh, and to Blake:
Glad you've taken this step! I did some reporting on a Cambodian Buddhist monastery here in the States, and in the summer they would occasionally get some interest from lay citizens who wanted to try out the lifestyle of prayer and meditation that their monks observed.
One boy was an American youth of 14 and he shaved his head and his eyebrows and took up the saffron robes. He went through the two-week training program, and then he returned to the secular world again. He thought about returning to do more study but could not commit to becoming ordained just yet. The monks were fine with that.

That reminds me of the story I would tell my students when they were in awe of my mad chopsticks using skills. I told them that I travelled to a Tibetan monestary (I guess I can't say this part anymore ) to study the use of chopsticks. I spent 3 years at the monestary studying chopsticks. The first year: meditating on the chopsticks. The second: I could use 1. By the third year, I was allowed to use 2. Had I stayed a fourth year, I could use 3! My master could use 8!

What if you have wavy hair? Best or worst of both worlds?

Please reprimand everyone who paid attention to me when I first started my experiments in AI. If it wasn't for them, I'd never have persevered and Better AI would never have come into existence. If not for that success, I wouldn't have had the self-confidence to expand "changing a corner of the gaming world" into "changing a corner of the world".
You know who are to blame for me being an attention whore, now go blame them!
Misused it is, then.

I have to confess I spent several days at a buddhist monastery on a schooltrip once and liked the meditation stuff a lot.

My purpose in life is to live simply and wholesomely, be virtuous in conduct, talk and listen to people and meditate!
