Bulging biceps might be one route to women, but other methods are available.

Remember that a woman who falls for you because you look in good shape can just as easily fall for any man in good shape. The woman that loves you for who you are, however, is interested in you, not your muscles.

I don't think someone can work on their confidence without being an artificial tool. Also, they guy with the artillery avatar is sort of wrong, women like muscles more than personality if they're attractive.

            Sadly, Wiglaf is right.

            Money>Looks>Personality

Women will almost always claim the reverse however.

Physical exercise can be a part of it... but working on confidence is mainly a psychological process.

Yeah, my confidence is pretty low with girls, but I would like to be more confident about my appereance.

Back on topic, yes alternating lots/light little/heavy, and changing things up all the time is best.

You body gets acclimated to a routine, so best to switch it up regularly. It doesn't even hurt to take a week off the lifting and just do cardio for the week.

lots/light builds mass, while little/heavy builds strength.

But since lots/light takes more time, I tend to that once a week, and stick to my quick 45 minute little/heavy.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

I don't know if just looking fitter alone is going to help. Don't get me wrong, it certainly helps and makes you feel a lot better about yourself. But there is something else you need to do to make yourself feel better and happy about yourself. But trust me my friend, I understand your pain.

I've never really seen the fascination of getting all big and bulky...
Well it does depend on where you start from. Whenever I exercise it's to build bodyweight because I'm slim to start with.

Going to do cardio + high rep (2 days) this week.

Not sure if I will just do high rep, or switch it with low rep next week.
