That wall belongs to the property next door. The low part in the foreground is ours. Gives you a feel for how much material we had to bring in to backfill the wall...the wall isn't even started yet in this pic.

The foundation for the wall is being dug. We hit rock so it's a good solid base. That means that the rock will likely be pretty much the same as close by as either property you're considering Zkrib.

Tina tosses a rock to be used in the wall. Everyone got involved.

One of the earliest pours...all the pours leading to the day of the great first floor pour. At one point the salacot was half hanging in the air due to the ground being eroded out from under it. When we were backfilling the property it had to be raised as we went to avoid burying it.

I sorta am...since about 3 a.m. this morning.

When I was over there last, you mentioned building a slab over the river and putting a house on it. This morning, I got the idea of building two half-houses, one on each bank, and connecting them with bridges. You might have a tree growing up through your house, but I'd have a river running though mine.

(There'd be problems, of course. The river level probably varies greatly during the year. Crud would flow down the river. Building on two river banks would be tricky. And I'd be far away from by buddy Lancer. ...but still.... )

Anyway, don't sell the property until you talk to me first. Please?
