    110 m.p.h.

The cop was really nice. He wrote my up for doing only 85. Elsewise, I'd have been taken to jail for reckless driving.

Don't know. The spedometer topped out at 120, and we didn't have a radar gun handy.

Little over 200 km/h with a bike. But let's not forget... with a VERY fast acceleration

Around 130mph in a car (yay deserted highways) back when I was young and reckless About there was the car's vibration frequency (a 1995 firebird, in 1995-1996 [my dad's car])

118mph...seeing how fast my current car would go. However British roads are far too busy to go up any further before encountering another vehicle.

I thought this was yet another Spec fecal thread.

about 150km/h for me (why the hell did you post options in mph?!)

150km/h? That's pathetic, if you don't mind me saying so...I normally cruise on a motorway at about that speed

Yes, going really fast and ending a mangled wreck was never my scene. I take different risks.

That would have been a much more interesting poll. Spec is slipping with his thread duty.

180 km/h on a motorbike (on the backseat and without a helmet. I thought my ears would get ripped off...)

220 km/h on the autobahn while hitch-hiking. The ride lasted about four hours, and he covered close to 700 km

Another good ride I got was in a Golf-whatever with a transvestite. Lola still had a need for speed and pushed it close to 200 for half an hour or so.

                            180 km/h as a passenger without a helmet? That's crazy man...

But check this one out, I was a passenger on a bike that went appx the same speed, I had a helmet, except my hands were in the back! Yes, my friend decided to do some of that road, never told me, just went ZOoooom! So I never had the time to grab a hold on him. Of course he positioned himself like the master of aerodynamics, so that all the wind comes right at my chest, so as to make sure I might die.

I'm telling you, I almost punched him in the face after we stopped. I really had to calm myself not to kill him. It was so bad, I had to squeeze with all my power and I STILL wasn't sure if I was able to hold on. I kept imagining myself dropping off and rollign on the street and dying horribly for that hot 60 seconds. I seriously wanted to kill him. What a ****ing idiot. Even then he was "Oops, sorry!". No don't be sorry, BE DEAD!! Not funny. You squeeze so hard that even your eyes close. You try to lean forward SO hard you can't see anything even if your eyes were open, because oyu're staring at your own chest. And you feel how your ass is fighting not to move one inch more to the back and to your hands so to mark it as "too late, now you die". And of course it was this long but steady curve, to give me the maximum amount of horror. It really sucked, because you just think you can't hold on much longer. And the little ****er keeps accelerating more and more. You know in his mind he is high and having all this euphoria, whereas you can't even bring your hand forward to knock on his back to let them know you might drop off pretty damn soon. You can't shout, all you do is squeeeeeeze and hope for the best. It gets to the point where you know it won't be much longer until you can't hold on anymore. That's the bad moment, then you really know you actually might not make it. And the idea of rolling on the streets with that kind of speed isn't actually nice. Best case scenario? You might not actually be decapitated. Maybe.

Prior to 1978, 115 MPH on my Honda 750 on I-80 between Vallejo and Fairfield on the down hill side, racing an America Motors AMX 390. At the bottom of the hill, he wave and took off and left me. He was doing over 125 or more. In 1961 in my buddy 54 Olds 88, also 115 max out racing a 57 T-Birds on a back road east of Turlock, Ca. with 2 girls that we just met. The 57 bird also took off and left us. When I was 13, a brother of our little league team coach had a 57 Studerbaker Golden Hawk. He did 135 MPH with 4 of us in the car on the Crows Landing Highway. This is the road between Modesto, and Crows Landing, Ca. Two years ago, I flew my first airplane and we were around 120 or so.

After 78 on my 78 Honda GL 1000, 100 MPH on I-5 west of Modesto, Ca. Late 90s 100 in my 93 Dodge Intrepid on I-680 in Fremont, Ca.

135 mph or so on a deserted highway in Arizona. We were doing 120 and a cop came up behind us. We were worried for a moment that he would pull us over for speeding - but he passed us instead.
