One thing I will say about the "western" reports. They've been generally fair, which is why I think the Chinese are so angry about them. The reports are not expressing outrage.
Is there bias? Of course. But it's uncomparable to what the CCP puts out, which is designed specifically to sway opinions (especially for the simple minds
). Actually, the "western" reports on Tibet have been a lot like the reports on Iraq. A lot of conservatives in the US have complained about them, but that's not because they're are actually asking for fair and balanced coverage. They are asking for priviledged coverage, hence the creation of FOX news.
