Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Do you think being Canadian makes you clever? Reality check, dress codes include hair styles. This is why haircuts are disallowed in the army, and I rarely see soldiers whining and complaining that they are so oppressed. Be real men. Whining about not being able to cut your hair like white trash emo losers is one of the saddest things you can do, and to start at 6 years old makes me think this kid and his parents should be castrated.
Actually many in the service try to get away with individualist hairstyles as much as they can. You have the hardcore infantry types who sport the high and tight while some shave as much off as they can. I've seen Air Force guys with a surprisingly large amount of hair so even in the services, there is a tendency to allow some measure of individually to creep in. with your infantry units there isn't much room for those individual expressions but it isn't as restrictive as all that. Ask anyone that has served and you will get pretty much the same experiences. And yes, some do whine

As for the topic at hand, I tend to side with schools a lot but this seems such a petty issue to suspend a kid over. I do think the mom probably got a bit self righteous when they told her it was inappropriate but it just seems a bit stupid. I've seen kids with similar haircuts here in my daughters school and they don't seem to cause the level of disruption that the school claims. I'd be interested to know about the behavior of the child other than this. Since it wasn't mentioned, I'm assuming he wasn't a problem kid except for his hair.
For those who don't think 6 year olds are in capable of caring about their appearance, you should probably look again. Many do care but then again I see 20 and 30 year olds that don't care. It's all about the individual kid.
