Wrong. Hair has a lot to do with education, so do the other dress requirements. Stundent discipline is significantly improved with a good dress code. And every administrator will tell you that a school with good discipline is a school with students that are learning. Sometimes the students don't realize that, but then that's not their job.

      • If discipline in that school depends on one guy's haircut, the mother did right in moving to another school

How do you know more kids wouldn't start getting mohawks? A school full of kids with mohawks is going to have a lot of problems with discipline.

            I'd love to hear this.

            Why?

              It doesn't matter why. It's a fact.

OMG, it's the end of civilization.

Ever considered the fact that lots of countries may not have dress codes or haircut rules in school or kindergarten and still manage to get their kids educated? Or are you telling me the people there are all undisciplined and uneducated?

I think a direct link between haircut and discipline is just laughable.

Excellent. If it's a fact you can source it. Source please.

I'd love to hear how haircut determines behaviour.

What do you think "distract from education means?" Do you think it means that the other students will not be able to stop thinking about the dress attire? No. It means that that type of dress (or haircut in this case) will create discpline problems. It's the discipline problems that distract from education.

You don't need a source for that. Seriously, your inability to recognize this simple fact is incredible.

                        • Tell you what BreBo or Wezil. Why don't you go be a subsitite teacher for a school where all the kids have mohawks or some other anti-social haircut, and come back and report to us how the discipline was at that school.

You really seem to have no idea about what you are talking about.

Repeating the same assertion over and over does not prove anything. I could just do the same from the opposite direction.

You keep going on and on about discipline problems, yet you seem to be completely unable to explain how exactly the haircut would cause these probs.

You are the one that made the claim and said it was a "fact". The onus of proof is on you.

I ask again, source please? Or will you admit you are pulling things out of your ***?

I was a subsitute teacher for 3 years. I taught many students at many different schools. There's a reason why administors know things. It's becuase they have experience.

I shouldn't have to explain why it is that way. I've just seen it.
