Please explain how gerrymandering affects statewide totals.

In other words Hillary is counting on a state which hasn't a chance in hell of voting Democratic in the Nov election.
This is a primary. Texas is pretty damned important to both dem candidates.

Would be interesting if two of the largest states actually had their primary votes counted.

Yes, I don't know why they don't have a national primary and be done with it.

Because then only the richest candidates (i.e. the ones who've already sold out to the special interests) could afford to run.

Now allows the Daily Kos to buy a primary or 2.

With a national primary, we'd be electing the two richest candidate: Romney and Clinton.

Essentially. Someone posted earlier about "a poll" showing obama leading, this is just more compete polling data for everyone's information. I didn't comment on the link, because I'm not sure how to interpret the data given that last little, short-term blip that puts Obama back in the lead.

My favorite part of the page is near the bottom -- Fox News poll shows McCain by 19%! Could have something to do with the LV/RV column I guess -- I'm assuming LV is "likely voters" but I don't know what RV is.
