what if i come with a spike collar?

what if i come with a leash that is short, without someone else holding it?

what if come with tubes sticking out of my ears?

are any of these proper reasons to deny me service in a store or a bus?

So we know that
a) they take it off before they get on the bus
b) the driver continued harassing the kid when he was alone, without any leash.

so it becomes clear that the harassment is personal, because of the way he dresses.

Yes, I am trolling you. I expected you to just use the smiley in response. Whew! I consider Goths obnoxious and don't believe this is some kind of major human rights violation--they could have just gone home and changed--but I still consider them humans.

as long as they are not dressed illegally (ie naked) there is no legal reason for them to go home and change.

I completely understand that the driver might be disgusted with their clothes or appearances.

But he could also have it against girls wearing Eminem T-shirts, or shirts with the print of Che Guevara, or disabled people, or people with low IQ

Even if goths killed and ate his mother - his personal opinion, or the opinion of a large public is an acceptable basis for discrimination. Unless it is illegal to be a goth in public transportation - the bus driver must comply.

Actually we know that the harassment became personal, because (for whatever reason) the bus driver remembered the kid.

Not the latter two, since they can't help being stupid/disabled. But as for clothes, I really don't care. There's a practical limit on how much a driver can discriminate against. I suppose in principle I sort of agree with you, it's just...eh. Goths suck.
