There have been reports of big problems in South-Central LA which is the part of LA most likely to vote Obama. Some polling stations didn't open up until 11am instead of the designated 7am start time. Plus many of those stations, once opened, didn't even have ballot boxes.
There is already talk of conspiracies since it only occured in heavily Obama districts and the man in charge of this is a senior official in Hillary's California campaign. I think it is to early to talk conspiracies but it does show that the conflict of interests which caused such problems in Florida in 2000 are alive and well. I mean how can a partisan campaign worker be in charge of selecting polling stations and distributing ballot boxes? That just doesn't seem like the smartest system.

It's not, but the education money comes from the General Fund, which is where the Casino Money goes.
Still, it seems a little shaky to hope that random General Fund money will find its way into education, especially given the fiscal situation of the state government right now.

MSNBC is predicting that Georgia goes for Obama - I waited to hear how many precincts were in, and the answer was three, or less than 1%. I'm for Obama but that seems a bit early for a prediction based on poll results.

There is another 30 minutes in eastern states and 3:30 to go in western states. We likely won't know the official California results for at least a day due to nearly all of the electronic voting systems getting rejected by the State Registrar of Voters.
Apparently the state conducted a study and found that it is very very difficult but still possible to tamper with the electronic machines so they've switched back to old fashioned paper ballots until the security issue is worked out.
hmmm -- I am surprised that any single video can be that convincing.
This is not to say I see any issue with supporting Obama ( he and Clinton do seem indistinguishable on most issues and for some undefinable reason I find that I feel like he is the more trustworthy of the two). Its just that I watched most of the video and while it certainly is a very good piece of political marketing, I certainly wouldn't call it ultimately convincing. At the very least I would think that a true undecided would look to give equal time to a similar piece on behalf of Clinton before declaring themselves convinced.
I pretty much already knew that Hillary would not stand up to special interests. I'm worried about some in particular. You can't be certain about Obama, but there's hope there. After watching that video I don't have much hope in Hillary to tell you the truth.

The rich stupid ones aren't smart enough to work as mechanics, so it's actually less wasteful to do it that way

CNN made the same prediction with 0 precincts reporting.
To be fair every poll going into the elections had Obama leading by such a wide margin in that state it's hardly worth waiting to announce he won. They could pretty much do the same with Arkansas for Hillary.
