I'm just waiting for the day when you get robbed, beaten up and raped in the ass by a big gang of these "youths". Of course, by then they compromise the majority of your neighbourhood.

For those of you in US who haven't blinded their eyes entirely with political correctness, I can translate the reason for this type of punishment: Since Europe has no death penalty, it's justice system struggles helplessly in trying to think of ways how to put a stop on kids who simply do not want to play by the rules of civil (or law-abiding, if you will) societies. Kids who yell "**** you" to judge when they're asked if they regret for what they've done. This is simply another desperate attempt to solve a problem which is constantly getting bigger and bigger.

What is one going to do when a 20 year old has a 6 year old criminal record filled with armed threats robberies and rapes and shows no willingness whatsoever to stop his rampage, when the Official Truth dictates that every human being is good and all the violence displayed by the habitual criminals are simply misunderstood signs of illness which can be cured? What is one going to do when the de facto life sentence is 6 or 7 years in prison with probation?

What is one going to do when kids understand that pillaging the society around them -- waging war on the country they live in -- is their way of life, their occupation and their natural way to have children?

Get outraged at the ridiculously watered down PC proposal of the ruling centrist parties and start painting demons of nazi conspiracy, the hidden enemy which forces the "youths" to continue waging their war with their racism, apparently. Outdoor-prisons with physical activity mean camps, which (why of course!) mean concentration camps.

I concur with VetLegion.

There is less crime in Europe than in the US. I am not going to go into the death penalty, I will simply say that I don't care if it works or not; the state should not have the right to execute people, period. The only acceptable reason to kill someone is to defend others or self-defense.

Concerning harsher sentences, perhaps we should try to brainwash the youths? Decades of incarceration are so wasteful.

WTF, what has this to do with the DP? Do they hand out a DP for beating up people in the US, which is what happened in the cases I referred to in the OP?
