Cutting off the funding of the war is relatively simple, but that would require dedication and the willingness to weather a public ****storm of epic proportions.
Corralling a majority in the House in favor of defunding (i.e. against passing a funding bill) is not simple by any means, for precisely that reason (note that funding can't be filibustered due to Senate rules on budget bills). Even a straight-forward withdrawal bill doesn't get too far past a simple majority...
