Here's the real question.

Why don't the US and Russia wake up and jointly rule the world? I don't mean conquer the world, I just mean that between the two nations, the US has the technology base and a ton of resources, Russia has the resource base and some pretty good tech, and both have a large population base. Why not basically ally together, tell the rest of the world to **** off, and get on with developing the tech to jointly colonize space?

This way, the bleeding heart liberals in Europe, the fundamentalists in the Middle East/bastards in OPEC, and the true threat of the future, China, all get left out in the dark. Although we'll let the Euros join us, if they agree to stop being such bleeding heart liberals.

At worst it was an exaggeration. 28" to 48". The sucker part comes in with the 7 pages of responses.

Well, we have a smaller population than some Third World countries, such as India. And China has more people as well.

But we have far more resources, better tech, and for the most part better economies (except for Russia as compared to China).

The US might have saved Western Europe, but it didn't save the USSR.
