This is the amazing news Zkrib posted in his Birthday thread...it means he'll equal any new contributions recieved by me before Feb 14 up to $500. That's friggin outstanding because that would FINISH the saving for the job. Opportunity is knocking, gotta be in my hands by the 14th of February!

Hey, I was sleeping late, okay? Then I wake up to find my place filled up with people wearing silly paper hats.

I've been thinking hard about what I want for my birthday. They're: (a) Charlize Theron (b) world peace & (c) maybe, a hippopoteus. --But let's face reality; I'm not going to get any of those things.

So what I really want is: (d) for the Apolyton II house to get built. Right now, Lancer needs about $1,000 more to finish financing the basic house plus the two luxury items: a tin roof (rather than one made out of those weird leaves) and indoor plumbing (rather than a outhouse).

So what I'm going to do is match, dollar for dollar, the next $500 Lancer receives. This has to be new money (not the nearly $500 he's already collected from us, not the $500 of his own money he's kicking in, and not the $500 that the casino guy is contributing). And this new money must be in Lancer's hands by February 14, 2008.

That's not a much time as you may think. Mail to the Philippines takes a couple of weeks and maybe more. So, don't screw around and miss the deadline. If your check is already in the mail and he receives it after this post, it counts & I'll kick in a matching amount.

So guys, it's time to loosen up your wallets, soak ol' Zkribber for a bunch of money, and build this house!
