          errr-- did you check the returns policy as I always thought thay had a pretty good one. I know my wife has returned stuff there without even a hard question from the customer service people

            I know someone that returned furniture he didn't even buy there.

            Sure the futon is/was returnable. Of course now it is all assembled and transport is not convenient. For the cost of the item I just can't be arsed.

                    Flubber - As I said earlier, you get what you pay for. I should have known better as I know WalMart sells crappy Chinese stuff. Lesson reinforced.

                        Losing a certain "feel" actually. The futon replaced on old couch that my cats found irrestible as a scratching post. Threatening them with declawing just wasn't working. I think they knew I was bluffing.
