For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Me either-- I wonder does the fact that I do not smoke play a part in that??

I have noted that it does attract a worse-dressed group and I do know some people that won't go in one.

Poor Walmart -- They get slammed from the elitists and the commies alike.

Doesn't anyone appreciate that for a homeless or working poor person, they can probably buy the bulk of their food/groceries at Walmart cheaper than anywhere else?

                Really?

And whose moral set should we all be obligated to?

                Yours?

                Umm - the Vaticans?

The guy who lives down the street?

Maybe the that of the Swiss?

Or what about the Khmer Rouge?

There is not one "single" moral code in the world. And no one nation has a united "moral compass" either.

It is denying basic human behaviour to say so.
No there is not any absolute moral code we can all agree on.

Nor is there one absolute ideal of justice and law.

Yet, SOMEHOW we are able to come up with laws that we as a society agree are mostly fair and correct, so why not the same with morals?

Or should we tear down all law because our vision of law and justice are not all identical?

Was this part a joke too?

You blame me for being cryptic? There is a Wal-mart down the block from me. I shop there. I also have two jobs. What are you getting at?

The poor don't benefit nearly as much as the rich who own it. Sure they provide jobs and cheap stuff, but things could be much better for us.

All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

So you admit defeat. Good. You didn't stand a chance.

Trickle down economics is your proposal. Mine is the exact opposite. You said neither one works.

                              • Let's get back to bashing WalMart shall we?

I bought a futon on sale at WalMart at the end of August. One of the support legs had broken off by early September. Another shining example of the quality Chinese merchandise to be found at this glorified dollar store.
