You exagerate, how many people have US bombs really affected in the last ten years? Maybe .05 pecent of the world population?

I'd be suprised if it was even that amount. Unless you are including arms sold by the US to...various people
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

The USA is noticeably acting in an arogant fashion of late.

Partly, perhaps, because of the internal insecurities of its president but also, I think, as a reflection of the will of its people.

This has happened before with other powerful countries. And the response of others has been to band together. One country makes a treaty with others saying that if it is attacked by the aggressive country the others will treat that as aggression against themselves - mutual protection pacts.

That sort of process sparked the Great War and the Second World War.

No such diplomatic process seems yet to have started currently. Or not openly at least. But I will not be too surprised if it does.

No doubt such a process would begin in such places as the middle east, Pakistan etc. But I am a Brit and for some time now I have felt threatened by the USA and its people. If my own government thought it right to enter pacts with others I would not be outraged.

Perhaps you should take a look at our allies.

Is mindless exaggeration a disease, as it seems to be spreading?

Mindless exaggeration has always been a feature of the human condition. I don't think it's infectious.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Yeah, we're seeing how well that works out before our eyes. Not very well.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Pssh, Canada has always been #51. England's claim to the title is purely a Tony Blair invention.

As a practical matter however, I'd be ok with a staggered entry to save face for both your countries. Ontario #51, England #52, Quebec #53, Wales #54, etc. We can call it the Great Compromise of 2007.

That NFL game in London is just the first step...

How be we make your States into provinces instead? We don't want to hook up to your failing economy. American peso dollars.

We are purposely devaluing our dollar temporarily in order to strengthen other global currencies.

It breaths life into the whole world's economy.

See, we really are good neighbors!

                        Maybe we can negotiate...

How about Maine, Vermont, Montana and North Dakota in exchange for Ontario and Alberta?

Four for two, can't beat the deal!

Nope. All we will offer is Quebec.

No good. One Alberta is more than enough.

At least we are making some ground here...
