Yeah, the title as it is now is very much confusing. They should have edited it to at least something like "Can I get a female doctor?"

I don't know what the cough thing is about either. Maybe the doctors don't know either, some perv came up with it and it somehow became "the standard". Wouldn't that be weird if it was true?

I guess they check out the testicles that they're OK, visually OK. That's the only thing I could come up with. More so because I never had to do it, ever. That stuff was checked out when I was a kid, maybe less than 7 years old. I remember, that the doc had this spoon like thing, and you would put your testicles in it. Just like a spoon too, maybe it was a spoon really. Or maybe it was a "medical instrument" that really was just a $5000 spoon.

So that was about testicles and the gear overall. No touching involved, just the spoon, plus visual check up. Later on in school the school nurse would just ask you, it wasn't that you needed to show anything, she would ask you spesific questions, very spesific. I remember that day too, because it was something that I guess everyone at that time had to get done, because my dad was with me too and it was the only thing the doctor would inspect. A penis inspection of a sort. Kind of weird, eh? But better be sure everything is cool. Because if I had to go to a doctor, my mom would always take me. That time, it was my dad and he came with me to the room as well so... I mean I guess it was some kind of a standard check up.
