i heard about them as a child, but never saw one. it was a very common ocurrance at the public school very close to my house.

never heard of that. bullies bullied me old school. by shoving me around. . I don't think I was ever hit by one though. They usually just use intimidation with their size.

The bullied I remember generally intimidated via pushing, taking your stuff, throwing your stuff back and forth, telling dirty jokes about you, passing dirty rumors around school, throwing stuff at you. I think most of the bullies in my school went on to become charter members of Fred Phelps Sr's church, many of them seemed to be obsessed with queers. ( We didn't have gays or fags then. )
