Oh well. The Replicator is probably the most unbelievable pieces of machinery in Star Trek. Do they ever explain how it works? It seems to create matter out of thin air.

Assuming for the moment that the "warp-capable" ship comes with enough stuff (fuel ) to operate it for a good long while and is easily landable on planets and has enough shielding, sensors, communications and navigation stuff, I think it would be the easy choice
Since there are so many billions of planets out there, I would think that I could head out and quickly get rich by visiting the planet that places no value of diamonds or gold-- Its also best for those that want to help humanity, unless of course you get assimilated by borg-like creatures that then decide to munch our planet
But if you could just meet some friendly aliens, the benefits could be enormousYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

If you have a transporter which can create any kind of living matter, no reason you can't have a replicator to create any kind of matter.

I always wondered btw. if this isn´t a good method to create exact replicas from yourself.
I mean, from the techno Lingo in several episodes from ST we know that the important informations about the people are stored within the transporter buffer (and can be held there for some time)
So wouldn´t it be possible instead of just materializing one Worf to materialize 100 Worfs in short time?
This could have solved problems on several occasions, where the ship had to be flown undermanned because of a lack of crew or in situations when there was a klingon raiding team that was about to be beamed on board

Actually, I don't want any of it if it doesn't come with quality 24 hour tech support."The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.
