I'm not going to describe it here. one of those terms teenage boys make up I think. . I can no longer keep up with the things kids come up with these days. Look it up in urban dictionary if you dare. It's not a romantic type sexual activity.

You know, whenever I hear the phrase "donkey punch," I can't help thinking of Captain Falcon from SSB...then giggling like a schoolgirl. "Donkey...PUNCH! Donkey...PUNCH!" The move that didn't make it to the U.S. version.

I wonder how many parents burned their kids' copies of the books.

In other news, the His Dark Materials movies are going to suck because the Americans have compelled the removal of the anti-religious material, which was the whole point of the book (other than the armoured polar bears).

The anti-religious schtick was overblown, anyway.

It was the only decent thing about the books. Otherwise, they were just rubbish.

While I am not as big a fan of the series as many (although they were decent), I don't think that removing the anti-religion stuff leaves the story in place.

I think the upcoming encyclopedia she needs to say the wizarding world legalized gay marriage back in the 70s .

? I haven't been following it too closely, but I thought someone new had taken the helm and put all the religion-is-evil crap back in out of respect for the author. It's The Dark is Rising that is now irrevocably ruined, thanks to %$#! Hollywood.

Anyway, I second DaShi. The first one wasn't bad (though I hated that bratty little girl), but as the series went on and he got more and more obsessed with how Jesus was out to keep us from having fun, well, it all went down the crapper.

IIRC, they discover that the rifts made by the dimension-slicing knife are causing dust/dark matter to vanish and creating phantoms, which is bad. Also the two heroes have to split and live in their own worlds, since living in another world causes premature death or something. So they have to part forever and close all the doors.

Oh, and there's this nonsensical visit to the land of the dead, and they win a war against heaven. They almost lose when the evil angel who's been running things in senile-god's name corners them, but the evil blonde chick manages to distract him by shaking her butt or something. Yeah, he's been de facto ruler of the universe for like 6K years, but he apparently never even thought of using that power to get laid, so the female form makes him as stupid and awkward as a thirteen-year-old. I had to laugh at that part. Oh, and there's this Ambiguously Gay Angel Duo too, they were kind of funny.

                                That's about it, I think.
