Jesus ****, you have an enormous opportunity to influence your party when voting in primaries. Try not to elect an absolutely ignorant, lazy, incompetent and corrupt ****head this time. One Bush is enough, unless you willingly want to make everyone's life more dangerous.

Vote: Gore for President

First, it's Condi with an I (short form of Condoleezza) and second, names ending in I are annoying.
Now as for the poll I went ahead and voted yes. I also have to agree that Clinton is an awful choice, but for the reason that she does far too much triangulation in her positions and remains unapologetic for her vote that got us into the mess that is Iraq in the first place. At least Edwards "has the balls" to admit he was wrong. Worse, she just got through voting yes on ANOTHER piece of crap legislation (the Lieberman/Kyl amendment 3017 to HR1585; it passed) which could be the weak excuse Bush will use to say Congress approves of attacking Iran. Clinton didn't learn her lesson the first time and that's glaringly obvious now. Obama steered well-clear of the vote, as did McCain, but in Johnny's case that's only because he has the habit of missing most votes lately. I'm surprised that Bush-licking whore didn't cosponsor this garbage.
As far as picking someone in the primaries, I never do. I have repeatedly rejected requests for donations from several of the campaigns and will continue to do so. I will support whomever gets the Dem nom, but I really really hope it ISN'T Clinton. As a senator I don't have too much of a problem with her, but as a president I can only see more of the same "Democrats aren't Republican enough" b*ll**** the DLC has been pushing for a few years now. I'm not too keen on Obama either as he's still relatively wet behind the ears on the federal level. Maybe by the 2012 season he'll be ready for primetime (and by 2012 I don't mean I see a Republican in the WH in '08 nor do I see the Dem president resigning or otherwise being removed from office either). Frankly, if I have to choose someone this early, then I'll choose Edwards. I like Kucinich and Gravel more, but the only way either of them will get the presidency is if they're in the line of succession and everyone before them is killed off.
Now as for Gore, he has come a long way since his '00 run. I don't see him as "tainted" by Bill as I did back then, so I'd be more comfortable voting for him this time around if he chose to run. Rumor is he has told aids that he'll step in and run if it looks like the Dems are faltering against the Reps after the convention. The last thing this country needs is another Republican president but frankly, it looks more and more like Rudy will be the front runner and if that's the case the Reps will absolutely lose because the fundies have already said they'll go third party if he wins the Rep nom.
Now let's look at the Republican freakshow:
Romney is doomed because like all of the Reps, he needs the support of the fundies. As a Mormon, people have the sense that he's too weird. There's three ways he can respond to that, and they're all bad for him: 1) He could say that he'll respect the seperation of Church and State which will piss off the fundies, 2) He could try to play the religious values card, but again he's Mormon so the fundies will like that even less than they liked JFK being Catholic, or 3) He could play the "My religion is none of your business" card and we're right back to pissing the fundies off, as well as everyone else rolling their eyes and scoffing.
Rudy's very public history of having absolutely NONE of the "family values" fundies and Republicans in general adore bods very ill for him. But oh no, that's not enough for him so he constantly has to open his mouth, spout off nonsense, and make sure every other sentence he mentions 9/11. He's made some gaffes about it already (like the doozy where he claimed he was at Ground Zero more than anyone else).
"Phone it in" Fred Thompson has already tried to cheat the system when he ran a shadow campaign by not officially declaring his intention to run until AFTER a FEC deadline which resulted in his finances not being made public record like other candidates had to. But his problem isn't that, it's that he's stirring all of NONE of the voters. Seriously, have you seen his campaign rallies? They ought to have cots out instead of chairs. He also has repeatedly rebuffed efforts to get policy positions out of him when asked and even at his first debate this week he pretty much slept through it.
John McCain is in bad shape too. The man is one of those dreaded "flip-floppers" and has his head shoved so far up Bush's ass he may as well check on the president's back molars while he's up there.
Ron Paul is actually pulling in more money than McCain is. The man is a Libertarian as far as I can tell and although he stands with the rest of the country on Iraq (as in get us OUT of there), all his other positions are just Libertarian wet dreams.
According to Vote-Smart.org, there's quite a few other Reps running but the only ones that get any face time are Tommy Thompson (already withdrawn), Tom Tancredo (racist whackjob), Alan Keyes (fundie wingnut), Mike Huckabee (also a racist whackjob), Duncan Hunter (yeah, I've never heard of him either) and Sam Brownback (yet another racist whackjob).
I can't wait to see who the fundies choose as their third party candidate...The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.
The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.

The target's so wide, I doubt they'll need much imagination to find a topic.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Gore would be the best man running from either party if he ran. Sadly, he won't run.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Personaly, I dont see how Gore would have any chance on taking on any contenders in the Democratic Primaries.
Gore needs two things in order to run for President: an organization and money. The other contenders have already sopped up almost all of both. The only thing left for Gore is two winos and a buck twenty-two.
