Apparently you value music just enough to listen, but not enough to compensate the creators/owners of it, which I find to be despicable.

Yeah, its called the radio. Free music to the listener.

When you work, don't you feel you should be paid? Have some self respect, I know its hard when you're unemployed to have a positive sense of self-worth.

I have a hard time calling making music labor.

I think we can agree that if someone downloads and watchs a new movie that act is clearly theft.
      I don't agree.

        Radio isn't the same thing.

I'm not actually unemployed. I was just making a point. And I do have self respect. I don't need you to tell me how to respect myself thank you.

Musicians are paid for their work. If they don't want to share their music with people who can't afford it I suggest they get another job.

Dude, I'm not unemployed but I don't have much money to pay for music. Do you know how much concerts are these days? If it were cheaper I would pay for more of it.

You're rationalizing how you can utilize technology in order to obtain someone else's work for free. Sorry, but I believe that people that would rather steal or take without compensating the owner is someone who is lacking in the self-respect area.

what jobs are immune from people like you ripping them off? Not my job, certainly.

Just a different philosophy, I guess. If I can't afford something, then I either save up to get it, or I go without. Music is something that can be gotten legitimately, through the radio, or pandora, or from band's websites, without paying for it.

I'm not trying to obtain people's work for free. But I am trying to utilize technology and resources to the maximum benefit to us all. Like I said, if musicians aren't cool with that they can do another type of work. I think a lot of them are though. I think most of the criticism comes from the RAII.

Like I said earlier there is no cost to listening to music that you can't afford. It's not stealing.

Just saying that something is bad because it is stealing doesn't cut it with me. No individuals are harmed, and people benefit from it. That's good for me. You seem to have a principle with ownership of things which is causing rigidity in your thinking. What good is owning things if we are worse off?

You sir, are a brilliant thinker. Why listen to professional bands and singers when we can just head to the local elementary school for some kazoo action.

I know you're being sarcastic, but I actually do quite prefer to listen to a school concert then any rock band or rapper. I also enjoy school sports a lot more then professional sports.

Yeah, except I don't believe you when you say you can't afford a 13 dollar cd, or a .99 download from itunes. I believe that you have made certain budgetary decisions that are helped by the fact that you don't have to pay for any music or whatever else you download.
