And what in hell should I vote for next time?

SPD looks bad currently.
B90/Grüne looks bad currently.
FDP looks always bad.
CDU/CSU looks better currently, but I never liked them.

1. The states have positioned against it. In this federal structure this basically means it's dead.

Analysts say it's for domestic consumption partly and for band-wagoning with the US mostly. Germany needs none of the 2 and IRan is no real issue.

4. There's still youth violence and the occasional big news, the latest about a group of 8 Indian workers being beaten up by a mob of 50 Germans and hunted through town during a village festivity. Later turned out to be more of a normal disco brawl with several wounded and the hunt went on for like 10 metres. Typical you-don't-know-what-to-believe story. Anyway, in the early 90s it was your average neighbour throwing molotov cocktails on immigrant homes so I think it has improved.

Not sure, maybe I should march on one with some friends... to be serious: the Oktoberfest is bad, touristy beer culture. Good beer culture is to be in a Biergarten (your average backyard of a nice little pub) during summer afternoons

No, it's the Oskar one... Bernd, the Greens are now unvotable forever unless their Landesverbände in Hessen and/or Hamburg agree on Jamaika alliances thus paving the way for some proper national government. Apart from that, give Kurt a chance to be strong in the opposition

1. No idea, I always come as a nation. BTW, quite rich coming from a Pole.

2. Animosities: all Germans vs. Poland. Just drop a hint if you fancy an invasion one day or another... ah, that's enough, thanks. here we're coming!

Denmark alone belongs on the garbage pile of history I'm afraid. Maybe if you ally with Norway and Sweden you can bvully Finnland a bit, but apart from that there's nothing much our northern brethren can hope for.
